A social drama disguised as a dark comedy, the film is based on a popular novel by Czech author Jaroslav Rudis. The story follows Vandam, a disenfranchised working-class protagonist prone to solving problems through fighting. The film went to No. 1 during its first week of release in Czech cinemas.
